These are some of my most colorful and graphic images. They also represent an ongoing project to create artful images of as many different species as possible. The more I try to capture close-up wildflower images the more I realize how difficult it is to create an image with impact. Many times I’ve had admirable subjects but failed to create anything worthy of their noble nature.
